Every time I see this clip I get so pumped, because it truly says and shows (with the clip) what the Stanley Cup means to us hockey players, especially Canadians. We grow up playing street hockey dreaming about going in on a breakaway for game seven and scoring that goal that clinches the Stanley Cup. How many times have you thought about that? The game means so much to all of us, and when Don Cherry says that you need more Canadians on your team then anything else to win the cup, its true – Canucks are born with that desire, respect, and drive to dare to dream – and to do anything it takes to get that Stanley Cup. I am not saying Americans or Euros cant learn to want that cup, or that they don’t really care about winning it because we all know they want to win real bad too. I am just saying there a fire within Canadians because the Cup is part of our culture.
And those who do get to the NHL and get the shot at it give it there all….because they know the chance may never come again.

I know, can you believe that shit. They replace a classic song like that with fucking NICKELBACK. Not only that, they let Don Cherry onto the program with some grossssssssss clothing this year.

Well spoken... Canadians put life and limb on the line for just a shot at the cup, because it's more than just a trophy to us, it's a shrine devoted to the greatest sport in the world, HOCKEY!
