Re: O.K, What to do?
by buzzman35 on Friday, February 22, 2008 I say play him. Any goalie will tell you that if you play once and a while you can not get into a grove. Ray Emery can play and every one has seen that last year when he was given he chance. The man was doing one hell of a job. Then the next year he is riding the pine... how pissed you you be if you went from starting and having a great season to sitting on the pine almost every night? And now every one is blaming it on the atitude that he has now. He had the same atitude when he played for Binghamton in the AHL, so Ottawa knew what they would be getting when they called him up. A great goalie that has a chip on his sholder
Re: O.K, What to do?
by greensboro on Monday, February 11, 2008 put emerys ass on the pine..hes got a (edited) attitude and doesnt appricate the privalge hes given to play this game
Re: O.K, What to do?
by GREENORICHARD on Monday, February 04, 2008 ungrateful..if i was being payed to play professional hockey, id treat it like a fucking gift from god.. i hate guys that take it for granted, its too bad Emerys a pretty solid goalie
Re: O.K, What to do?
by ZachM11 on Monday, February 04, 2008 I say trade him he is obviously showing signs of not wanting to be where is now. if anything it will atleast fustrate him and he might clean up his act.
Re: O.K, What to do?
by StPhattysDay on Friday, February 01, 2008 Can that fuckin cancer...ruining the sens chances.
Re: O.K, What to do?
by Crossbar25 on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 Fuck him, send him down to the ECHL. That should be embrassing enough for him to clean his act up.
Re: O.K, What to do?
by krusher on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 Emery went from being a dirty goalie with a pretty decent attitude too a mediocre goalie that's become a cancer. If the Sens want to make a run at it this year they need to get him out of there because obviously he's putting himself before the team... what a joke he is.
Re: O.K, What to do?
by chrisbrown21 on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 paddock was said last week that he would decide on a starter within the next 10-15 games too, i think this severly hurts emerys chance, even tho gerbers been the better goalie, i think the sens should look to deal him
by navanboy on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 i read today that murray admitted to looking to trade him but noone was interested...I love emery and want him to do well, but this is getting a little rediculous. did the 9 mil go to his head?
Re: O.K, What to do?
by chisel_my_nizzle on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 Let him ride the pine for the rest of the year |

O.K, so I thought I would write a quick blog for all you hockey fans. I am completely and utterly stunned and for once, I really don't know what to write. Some of you might be thinking what I am talking about.
Well, yesterday Senators "back-up" goaltender Ray Emery arrived late for another Senators practice.
John Paddock usually wants players there about an hour before practice, and wants everyone on the ice as soon as practice starts. The practice yesterday was scheduled for 4 p.m, which means that EVERY player must be there by 3 p.m. From what I understand, every player attended the practice but one.
Ray Emery came late to that practice and arrived at 4:04 p.m. Paddock told Emery not to participate in this practice, and Ray watched the remainder of the practice from where the zamboni comes out.
Today, the Senators fined Ray Emery $14,705.88, which some say is equivalent to one day's pay for Emery.
