Partying like Rock Stars, or a Summer of Regret

With all the bets against them now, the oil have dug themselves into a deep hole, as they look for that every elusive spark to turn this series around. Yeah I know they are down 3-1 now and only a handful of teams have ever come back from this deficit – but you can’t just roll over and die. Need some inspiration? Just think about the pretty ladies you’ll be partying with in June while having beers with the boys on a luxury boat in Florida……CONTINUED BELOW

So in saying that, the OIL need there big boys to step up and come through with an inspiring performance for game 5 – we are talking about two main guys here: Smytty & Smitty. That’s right, these two horses are the leaders on this OIL team, and you get bet they know that this might be there last chance every to take a shot at winning the Stanley Cup.

They aren’t that old you may say – but remember the OIL were an 8th place team that rode a hot goalie and some luck to the finals; this isn’t going to happen every year. These two men need to ask themselves a question: Do they want to be sipping from a Stanley cup in June partying with strippers and rock stars by the pool, or do they want to be up at there cottage sitting on the deck having a quiet beer contemplating what went wrong.

Its gut check time boys.
