Not really much of a story or some article but this year in college they asked me to right a poem about my fav thing in the world, so i picked hockey thought this may be relavent.

I believe in competition and the will to win.
I believe in tournaments, Red Bull and tic tac toe plays.
I believe that home ice is worth at least 2 goals.

I believe that the ability to see the ice is more important then talent.
I believe in patience, poise and control.
I believe that offence gets the glory and defense wins the games.

I believe in trash talk, only if you can back it up.
I believe fighting is part of the game.
I believe an assist is better then a goal.

I believe in shinny
I believe in road hockey
I believe in the 2 dollar beer...CONTINUED

I believe practice will only make you better.
I believe training is the key to preparation.
I believe youth and intensity is just as good as age and experience.

I believe in taking a penalty if it means saving a goal.
I believe in sacrificing your body for the good of the team.
I believe in blocking a shot even when you’re winning by 5.

I believe in the trap even if it’s boring to watch.
I believe in putting your equipment on the same way before every game.
I believe in taping your stick twice a game.

I believe in no shoulder pads to increase movement.
I believe that a tie might as well be a loss.
I believe that I will once again see a defenseman score the Stanly Cup winning goal.

I believe the coach is always right.
I believe in suits, ties and dress pants.
I believe in scouting the other team before a big game.

I believe in after parties following a big win.
I believe the hockey lifestyle is the best lifestyle.
I believe in going high glove even if he’s taking it away.

I believe in low key celebrations.
I believe a goal on the ice is as pretty as one upstairs.
I believe in coaching in my free time.

I believe winning isn’t everything it’s the only thing.

I believe in Hockey.
