I am completely and utterly stunned and for once, I really don't know what to write. Some of you might be thinking what I am talking about. Well, yesterday Senators "back-up" goaltender Ray Emery arrived late for another Senators practice. John Paddock usually wants players there about an hour before practice, and wants everyone on the ice as soon as practice starts. The practice yesterday was scheduled for 4 p.m, which means that EVERY player must be there by 3 p.m. From what I understand, every player attended the practice but one. Ray Emery came late to that practice and arrived at 4:04 p.m. Paddock told Emery not to participate in this practice, and Ray watched the remainder of the practice from where the zamboni comes out. Today, the Senators fined Ray Emery $14,705.88, which some say is equivalent to one day's pay for Emery.

This fruserates myself, and would ponder to guess that it not only frusterates the players and Emery's teammates but also becomes extremely frusterating and annoying to the coaching and management staff in Ottawa.

Nobody in the media was talking about the 3 Senators (Paddock, Alfie, and Spezza) who just came back from the all-star game, or Alfredsson coming off his 7 point night and now the leading scorer in the NHL. Instead, they were talking about this reckless and unacceptable behavior.

I cannot bare talk about this much more, but I want to know your opinion on this, and what you think we should do about
Ray Emery.

Trade Him? Keep Him? Play Him? Bring Him Down To Binghamtom? Suspend Him?

The options are endless...
