The Kerrzy Report “Look at the Fun-Bags on That Hose Hound”
Posted by GSH-Editor on Tuesday, October 05, 2004
Imagine if you will, waking up one morning only to find that there are pictures of you in all of your glory while in a drunken stupor, getting 300,000 hits per day on the internet. No, this isn’t the preface to some celebrity gossip, and get real if you think we’re talking naked Kerr here…Only 300,000 hits a day are you kidding me? Now imagine that in these pictures, you are seen holding some Calgary Flames garbage, like the new jersey that you just bought when they made the playoffs, or even worse, one that you had from before. What would be more embarrassing, the whole internet seeing your sloppy-drunk-and-naked-licking-your-friends-boob self, or that same group seeing what you were wearing? Whatever the case, the website being discussed here is www.flamesgirls.com, a website that will have you thanking your lucky stars that VD can’t be passed through a computer screen.

Never mind these Calgarian broads though, what’s with EVERYONE being a huge Flames fan all of sudden. And before you even start to think it, let me just say: save your “Canadian team” bullshit for the Calgary Stampede. People keep telling me how good this is for Canadian hockey, when it in reality we’re talking minimal effects on Canadian hockey other than giving the Flames extra money for when they have to do the infamous big contract signings so that the big performers this year can suck for most of next season (if there even is one). I’m more in favor of actual Canadians winning the cup, and of the final 4, Philly was the only team with less than 15 Canadians on the roster. The bandwagon fans everywhere that jumped on the Flames loveboat just chap my nuts though. Here’s a fun game that all of you normal people can play: remember some faces of “Flames fans” in the next couple of days and in the middle of the next season ask them who their favorite team is. It might help to clip the standings out of the paper so that they can see who’s in first at the time, just incase they forgot. I leave you with one final thought: GO DELI CINQ

MORAL OF THE STORY: Don’t forget how easy it is for people to get the pictures they took of your sick sloppy self on the internet. And here’s a little tip from Uncle Kerrzy: try and get a running start when you’re jumping back off of the bandwagon in a game or two so that you don’t hurt yourself on the fall.

The Kerrzy Report Michael Fogolin
Posted by GSH-Editor on Tuesday, October 05, 2004
On behalf of the GSH.com and all of it’s members I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to the family and teammates of Michael Fogolin of the Prince George Cougars who passed away in his sleep May 26, 2004. Fogolin, Edmonton native and son of former-NHLer Lee Fogolin, was a rookie defenseman with the Cougars with a promising future in the league. A student of St. Francis Xavier high school in Edmonton, AB, it’s been said that Michael was one of those great guys that you just can’t say enough about and will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.

It’s a very sad day when the world loses a guy like Michael and at such a young age, it really makes you put your problems in perspective and think about the real value of life and friendship. Those of you that have lost a friend, family member or teammate know how hard this must be, and those of you that haven’t can only imagine. As a show of support for the family and teammates of Michael Fogolin, I encourage all of you to take a moment to send your thoughts and prayers to the organization at: pgcougars_mikefogolin@yahoo.ca. All emails will be directed to the Fogolin family. As you read this article, I would ask that you take a brief moment of silence in honor of all those affected by this tragic death.

Again, on behalf of the GSH.com, I would like the family and friends of Michael Fogolin to know that our thoughts and prayers are with them.

-“Mike was a valued part of the Cougars family and a cherished friend and team mate to all those who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed”-Taken from the Prince George Cougars website (http://www.pgcougars.com).-

The Kerrzy Report Making the Cut...Gets Cut!
Posted by Kerrzy on Tuesday, October 05, 2004

In this, the age of reality TV, there always has to be a bizarre twist in the program to keep the people interested. In "Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire" the guy isn't a millionaire, in "Who Wants to Marry a Midget"...that one you have to marry a midget which is funny enough to keep people watching, but there's even one show that was down here in Australia called "There's Something About Miriam" that just got sued because that something about her was that she was a duct-taped trans-sexual who was the goal of 6 unsuspecting males who all won nice large settlements...instead of her nice large...Apparently you really couldn't tell though, but that's just another example of a bizarre twist that pops up in these kinds of shows....

The Kerrzy Report The Rink's Half Full

Always one to put a positive spin on things, or if not positive at least somewhat comical, I've come up with a list of positives concerning the looming NHL lockout for those of you whose rinks are half full as opposed to half empty....

The Kerrzy Report The Kerrzy Report: "Lockout Edition"

So the NHL is unofficially locked out as of now failing a new CBA before the start of the season in October, but I think that there’s a better chance of it raining playboy models than there is of that happening. It looks far too grim from the stance of a fan, player, or league official at the point, which is really too bad..
